2025 Junior Future Games: INF Andrew Jones (Marist, 2029) had an impressive week all around. During the showcase, Jones tossed 79 mph across the infield and had a standout BP round, with a max EV of 84 mph. Jones has previously impressed in front of our staff at the IL Rising Stars Games. Jones worked the whole field when at the plate, and plays smooth and quick on the infield. A name to follow as one of the top prospects in the IL 2029 class.
A trio of Indiana prospects made the trip over the border and stood out, with INF Andrew Jones (Undecided, 2029), OF/RHP Paulie Hobbs (Hanover Central, 2029) and LHP Townes Cinninger (St. Joseph, 2029) all showing well on the day.

Jones would have a quality showing Saturday for his Top Tier squad, showing a two-way profile that leaves him as a name to follow in the 2029 class. At the plate, the right-handed hitter would go 2-for-3 while presenting an upright, slightly open base, utilizing a toe tap to get into an athletic position to hit. Jones showed controlled intent at the plate that would translate well on the day. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher would throw 3 2/3 innings of quality baseball, striking out six while only allowing one run. The fastball would sit 72-76 mph, topping out at 78, paired with a 67-68 mph breaking ball. Jones gave a deceptive look in his outing, coming from a 3/4s arm slot with a short arm-path.
