6'2" 170 lbs. long and lean frame that still projects for more as he gets stronger. Vincent was the Rebels hero in last year's State Title game and looks poised for an even bigger junior spring. He got the opening day start against the Rams last Thursday and gave up 0 H and 1 ER with 2 BB and 4 K's across 3 IP. The UL-Lafayette recruit pitched exclusively from the stretch and strides across his body, which creates a "cross-fire" look, and makes for an uncomfortable at-bat. His FB got up to 88 mph and sat 84-86 mph throughout his outing. Vincent's 72-76 mph SL was sharp with late break, especially when he got his fingertips on top of the pitch and release it out front. He also showed a much improved 75-77 mph CH that he was able to effectively use against right-handed hitters.

6'1" 165 lbs. frame with projection still left. Vincent caught our eye a couple of weeks ago, when we saw him throw from the outfield during in & out, which led us to seeing him on the mound last Monday against district-rival St. Thomas More. The uncommitted southpaw got the start against the Cougars and showed a lot of intrigue and promise. Working exclusively from the stretch, he used a longer arm stroke to release the ball from a 3/4 to lower 3/4 arm slot, that gave off "Chris Sale" vibes. His FB sat in the 82-86 mph range with inconsistent shape at times, and more control over command. Vincent also flashed a 74-77 mph sweeping SL (2372-2546 RPM) that he landed for strikes and swing & miss, and also threw a couple of 76-77 mph CH's with -22" horizontal movement. As with any young arm, he'll need to clean some things up, but there's no denying the arm talent and upside, which makes him a must-see sophomore this coming summer.

During pre-game in & out, Vincent stood out for his crisp routes and well above-average arm from the outfield, so we circled him as a player to watch out for. Hitting out of the 9-hole, he took arguably the best at-bats of anyone in the Rebels lineup last Friday night and it was against a quality arm. In his first at-bat, he took lined out to centerfield on a 88 mph heater and then blistered a single to the pull-side on a 3-1 FB. Vincent led off the Top of the 7th with a really nice two-strike opposite field single to finish the night 2-3. He showed an innate ability to get the barrel to the ball with a really flat swing, as his barrel gets in the zone early and stays through the zone a long time. Seeing his arm from the outfield, we'd like to see what he looks like on the mound as well, as he's firmly cemented himself as a prospect to follow in the state's 2026 class.
