Positional Profile: 2B/SS RHH/INF..will add strength. Solid baseball player. Defensively will be steady defender. Solid bat/power combo with adjustments. Will be fun to watch him develop over time.
Body: 6-2, 182-pounds. Good build/frame to add needed strength. Projects to have good build in future.
Hit: RHH. Some length to stride, does land in good position to hit. Posture can be firmed, lays back slightly, would like to see more upright, hitting into firm front leg. Nice linear movement to back foot. Back foot gets stuck limiting effectiveness of lower 1/2 in swing. Get foot fully rotated on time, continue to develop linear movement for success. Barrel/hands in solid launch position. Hands take good path to hit zone. Barrel has slight uphill path, would like to see more on line, dumps barrel on outer half pitches. Develop ability to control barrel on balls away. Solid bat and hand speed. 72 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 86.3 mph. 349' max distance. Overall nice approach to hit with opportunities for adjustments. Love the upside to bat/power combo. Will be able to impact baseball in future.
Arm: RH. INF-84 mph. Arm works, throws show carry. Raw arm strength will continue to improve.
Defense: Good feet, work well getting body into position to field. Nice job of feet working in fielding process, plays thru baseball. Hands work, occasionally fields baseball deep, easy fix getting baseball out front consistently.
ATH: 7.16 runner in the 60. 1.75 and 4.02 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs hard, upright runner. Can improve lean forward, will improve with added strength.
