In the infield, there’s quickness and bounce to his feet, resulting in good lateral movement. His soft hands and aggressive actions have the makings of a quality defender on the dirt. Kolb reached 83 mph on his top throw across the diamond, with accuracy. Rounding out his game, the sophomore ran a 7.20 60-yard dash, one of the better times of the day.

Kolb is a 5-foot-9, 155-pounder with quick hands in the right-handed box and he pairs it with legitimate bat-to-ball skills, too.
