The right-handed hitter has a simple right-handed stroke, staying through the zone with a flat path and looking to keep the ball on a line. Power should tick up as he continues to fill out. Quality defender on the infield with a strong arm, playing with carry across the diamond. Steady and confident hands with active footwork.
Athletic build that still has plenty of room to grow. Went 3-for-3 with a double on Thursday, showing a gap to gap approach with a wiry, smooth swing. Playing a year up and still catching everyone’s eye with not only his offensive contributions but also on defense; proving to be a rangy shortstop with an above-average arm.
