One of the top athletes in the class, Petfalski started off the event by running a 6.80 60-yard dash, good enough for 10th best of the entire event. At the plate, he sets up with a simple, upright stance with a slight leg lift that gains ground into the swing, explosive hand speed through the zone. Defensively, he stays light on his feet, gets around the ball, confident actions, throws out of a low 3/4 slot with a loose arm, topping out at 86 mph across the diamond.

+ This is our first look at SS Michael Petfalski (Waukesha South, 2027) in a showcase setting and he performed exceptionally well at the event on Saturday. Petfalski has a compact frame with tons of twitch and quickness. He started his day by running a 6.80 seconds 60-yard dash (5th best at the event) and jumped 27.4 inches (5th best). The athletic right-handed showcased considerable feel to hit and was all over the barrel throughout his round with a well-sequenced swing. His max exit velocity was 92 mph and will continue to tick up as he continues to add strength. On defense, freshman middle infielder demonstrated super smooth actions with a quick first step to both sides and was 86 mph across the infield with accuracy proving he is a reliable defender on the routine play and who can also make the rangy play to both sides.Compact frame with all kinds of athleticism.
