Manchester would showcase loud tools across the workout. At the plate, the Hudson product presented an upright setup in the box, gaining ground while utilizing a longer stride to get into a position of launch with quick hands that produced a max bat speed of 78.5 mph and an average of 73.1 mph. Additionally, showcased some raw power, achieving a max exit velocity of 100.4 mph with a 92.1 mph average and a max distance of 376 feet. Also showed present foot speed with a 6.68 60-yard dash that offered promise both on the basepaths and on the grass. Twitchy 5-foot-11, 164-pound frame with 9% body fat and top-end strength. Few players were featured on as many stat leaderboards as Manchester, and he deserves some serious attention from the college coaches community as a result.
+ OF Sam Manchester (Hudson, 2026) continues to be a name we like in the state after the solid performance on Saturday. Manchester started his day by running one of the top 60 yard dash times of the event at 6.90 seconds which is down from the 7.07 seconds 60 yard dash time we viewed at the Eau Claire Pre Season ID a couple of weeks ago. Manchester also saw his max exit velocity tick up a bit by using his strong hands to get through the baseball consistently throughout his round. The 94 mph max EV mark is notable and will likely keep ticking up as the junior keeps getting stronger.

OF Sam Manchester (Hudson, 2026) measured at 5-foot-11, 176 pounds with plenty of room to add to his frame. Manchester ran a bursty 7.07 seconds 60 yard dash which was one of the top marks of the event. Manchester hit with a controlled crash into the ball with a short and powerful hand path through the baseball. His 94 mph max exit velocity was the 5th highest on Saturday. Manchester is a twitchy and quick athlete that remains as a player our staff likes and will continue to follow in the spring and summer.

Manchester consistently found the barrel this past weekend, acting as a table-setter at the top of the ISA West Royal lineup. The left-handed hitter presents an athletic stance with a flat bat path, looking to do damage with a line drive approach. Speed was also a prominent part of Manchester's game as he moved well on the bases and showed rangy actions in CF. 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame with room for added strength.
