The long-levered 6-foot-2, 172 pound athlete displayed impressive ability to drive the ball through both gaps with a consistent short and quick bat path and hit the 2nd farthest ball of the event of 322 feet. Overall, it's a hitterish look at the plate from Ortiz. In the infield, Ortiz showed off first step quickness to both the backhand and up the middle. On the mound, Ortiz has an effortless delivery with the ability to pound the fastball to areas of the zone and was up to 81 mph. He also has a couple of different breaking balls that play well off of his fastball. Overall, it was a solid day as a two-way prospect from the Junior.
