Lynch has had a intersting turn of events happen in the past year, but with all of that behind, his talent had been emerging over the summer and carrying into the fall like he never skipped a beat. Lynch produced a mixture of real power/strength from the right side, he just never stops hitting in front of the Prep Baseball staff. Lynch had a max EV and an event best of 106 mph, with an average EV of 94 mph, his max bat speed held at nearly 80 mph. The kid can straight up play, his 60-Yard Dash was a 7.06, with a top speed of 19.6, clearly the big man can move. The arm strength is there too, having been up to the 88-89 range this summer on the bump. As a first baseman, Lynch played very vocal and when he had to let it rip across he did. Lynch is headed into his senior season at Novato High School, and I have a feeling he’s going to be making a ton of noise in his area, as well as the state.

Body: 6-2, 237-pounds. Broad, strong frame with present athleticism throughout.
Delivery: Works exclusively from the stretch with hands set at the belly button and minimal movement before syncing with the front leg during a high leg kick. Utilizes a drop/drive movement down the mound with a lengthy stride, landing slightly closed but maintaining direction well through the hips. Blocks effectively with the plant leg and displays fluid, consistent mechanics.
Arm Action: RH. Works with a full arm path that begins with a downward move before working behind the body as the upper half coils, creating solid depth in line with the frame. Features a fluid arm action that shows present arm speed, working up to a high 3/4 slot. Finishes with some recoil after release.
FB: T86, 82-85 mph. FB that fills the zone and displays good life and present velocity. Misses barrels and generates whiffs when elevated. Shows some natural tail, with the ability to run it inside to RHH; induce weak contact. T2177, 1984 average rpm.
SL: 67-70 mph. Slurve-like action with sharp, late break. Effective as front door offering to RHH early in counts, playing off the FB plane. Used as chase pitch late. T2136, 2002 average rpm.
CH: 76-79 mph. Fading CH that kills spin while maintaining velocity. Best used down in the zone to change the eye level. T1900, 1643 average rpm.

Uses a small leg kick for timing before a lengthy, controlled stride forward. Fires hips aggressively at foot strike, creating good separation, with hands following in a whip-like path through the zone. Pairs quick hands with plus bat speed on a slight uphill swing, generating consistent lift and carry.
