Borthwick, an Auburn recruit, was impossible to miss thanks to a hulking 6-foot-6, 240-pound frame that engulfs the batter’s box. A power-armed right-hander with an explosive, low 90s fastball, it was his right-handed stick that was most dominant in this look. A simple approach with a more direct path led by hands that remained compact to the frame, Borthwick went 7-for-10 on the week and looked the part of a major two-way talent.
