The arm talent is easy to see for Floyd who provided an explosive start for Prostock to open bracket play on Sunday afternoon. Athletic mover and moves really well down the mound with real arm speed and loose whip to the ¾ arm action. Fastball sat 88-89 (T90 MPH) with heavy arm-side run and life which produced tons of soft contact. Slider tunneled extremely well off the fastball at 80-82 with sharp movement and innate feel for spin. Floyd looked the part as a freshman with the Golden Bears back in the spring and the velo continues to climb with projection remaining. Chance to be a name to know in the class nationally in due time.
