The Upper Class Fall World Series is one of the most notable tournaments of the Fall. Teams travel from across the United States and even from Canada to compete for the Upper class Fall World Series title. We had everything from 2026/2027 committed talents to loads of uncommitted 2026 and 2027 players that can make an immediate impact at the next level.

Scout Blog

Spencer Leftoff, LHP/OF, 2027, Dunwoody
Uncommitted. The strong outings continue to stack up for Leftoff in each look over the past calendar year. With more of the same continuing for the 643 LHP on Saturday morning. Tossed 5.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 10 K. Leftoff moves well down the mound with innate feel for all three of his pitches and fills up the zone with ease. Fastball sat 80-82 with sharp arm-side run and above-average command throughout. Changeup tunnels well off of the fastball at 71 for whiffs. Curveball creates good depth at 70-72 and plays well off the rest of the arsenal. Leftoff would look the part out of the lead-off spot as well as he would find the barrel regularly. Shows a simple, compact LH stroke with good ability to stay balanced through the zone. Strong feel to manipulate the barrel stands out with present bat-to-ball skills. An ultra competitor with obvious twitch and athleticism throughout the profile and huge junior campaign appears to be on the way for the Dunwoody two-way.

Bobby Frierson, 3B, 2027, Walton
Uncommitted. It was seemingly barrel after barrel for Frierson in each look across the weekend. Arguably his best showing would come Saturday morning where he went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo homerun and 2 runs scored. Tied up late Frierson would take a thunderous cut as he exploded through the zone for a double into the LCF gap that left the bat at 100.3 EV. Would then come around to open the scoring for 643. In his next at-bat Frierson caught a curveball at the top of the zone and unloaded on it to the pull-side for the solo home-run (93 EV/365ft). Innate barrel feel backed by huge bat speed and immense strength throughout the physical 6-foot-3 frame. Well-leveraged through the zone with impact in the barrel to match as well. The hit/power combo has always stood out for the Walton 3B and a breakout spring could certainly be on the way.

Jake Boland, RHP/3B, 2026, Loganville
Uncommitted. The two-way prowess was on full display for the 2024 Future Games alum at the Upper Class Fall World Series. Boland was dominant in an inning out of the pen on Sunday as he generated whiffs at will and struck out the side. Physical 6-foot-1 frame with present strength in the lower half and moves really well down the mound. Innate feel for the 3-pitch mix and attacks in the zone. Fastball showed ride with in-the-zone misses at 87-88 (T89 MPH). Slider tunnels well of the fastball with tight break at 74-75. Changeup was worked in at 79-81. Boland would also come through with an RBI knock at the plate as well. Extremely simple actions at the plate and stays compact with quick, direct hands and feel for the barrel. The track record of performing on both sides of the ball continues to grow for the Loganville two-way. Remains one of the top uncommitted players still on the market in the state and will provide an immense value to a club's success at the next level.

Bryce Floyd, RHP, 2028, Holy Innocents
The arm talent is easy to see for Floyd who provided an explosive start for Prostock to open bracket play on Sunday afternoon. Athletic mover and moves really well down the mound with real arm speed and loose whip to the ¾ arm action. Fastball sat 88-89 (T90 MPH) with heavy arm-side run and life which produced tons of soft contact. Slider tunneled extremely well off the fastball at 80-82 with sharp movement and innate feel for spin. Floyd looked the part as a freshman with the Golden Bears back in the spring and the velo continues to climb with projection remaining. Chance to be a name to know in the class nationally in due time.

Banks Heinrich, RHP, 2026, Sayre (KY),
Uncommitted. Heinrich delivered a huge start to open the morning on Saturday for KBC against a potent opposing lineup. Finished with a final stat line of 4.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 9 K. Lean and athletic at 6-foot-4, 193-pounds and moves really well down the mound with present arm speed and obvious pitchability. Fastball showed hard arm-side run with command throughout and feel to land to either half of the plate at 86-87 (T88 MPH). Slider played extremely well off of the fastball at 75-77 with sharp movement and generated whiffs. Uncommitted name with plenty more to project upon and will help bolster a recruiting class at any level.
