LHP Andrew Zwemke (Oswego, 2026) is a long-levered 6-foot-7, 207-pound left-handed pitcher who showed an intriguing look at the Illinois State Games. Working only out of the stretch, Zwemke has a simple, fluid delivery with a high leg lift in a directional tall-and-fall move. Utilizes shoulder tilt to create a downhill angle from his big frame. Clean, easy arm-action out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 80-82 mph (T83) with a max of 22.1 inches of induced vertical break. Added a hard, cut-shape curveball at 75-77 mph that had an 80 zone %. Rounded it out with a straight changeup with feel at 75 mph.
LHP Andrew Zwemke (Oswego, 2026) impressed in his first showcase in two years. Zwemke stands out with his lean, wiry 6-foot-7, 207-pound frame with room to add strength. The left-hander operates from a simple, controlled delivery with a loose, long arm action from a ¾ slot. His height allows all of his pitches to play up, including his fastball that sat 78-80 mph with an average induced vertical break of 16 inches. He showed a slider that sat 69-71 mph with an average horizontal movement of 9.9 inches. Zwemke also flashed a changeup that sat 71-72 mph with an average spin rate of 1272 RPM.

Another 2026 to keep a close eye on moving forward was LHP Andrew Zwemke (Oswego). Zwenke has an advanced 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame that he controlled well moving down the mound, especially for his age. Zwemke has a clean, easy arm and filled up the strike zone at a 100% clip behind a fastball that topped at 81 mph with more to come. He also landed a mid-60s breaking ball for a strike and showed a low-70s changeup with an average of 8.9 inches of horizontal break.
