Started behind the plate and hit out of the three hole for the pioneers, not coming up with a hit but sending a ball deep to center for a fly out. Hornbrook really stood out behind the plate, working hard to block the ball up to all directions, moving athletically from the crouch. He has natural actions behind the plate, pairing with a strong arm that was on the bag routinely. Hard worker behind the plate with strength in his right-handed swing.

C Caleb Hornbrook (Normal University) showed well throughout the entire event, finishing gameplay 3-for-4 with a double, one RBI and a walk. He also showed well behind the dish, showing clean receiving actions, soft blocks and a strong arm on throws down to second.
