INF Jacob Huber (Libertyville, 2028) is an upside incoming freshman to know from the event. Listed at 5-foot-10, 135-pounds, Huber has all sorts of room to add on strength in the coming years. A right-handed hitter, Huber has a simple and easy swing, working flat through the zone with extension, staying balanced throughout and keeping the ball on a line. On the infield, he has soft hands with a fluid two-hand gather, securing the ball into his body with some rhythm.

Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Quick release, 3/4 slot.
Defense: Athletic actions, soft two-hand gather, secures the ball into his body, plays with rhythm.

Delivery: Simple, controlled delivery, high leg lift, tall/fall down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot.

Huber, standing at a wiry and athletic 5-foot-9, 125-pound frame, pitched a gem for the Slammers against the Minnesota Starters 14u team. He managed to give up no runs in three innings in their 15-0 victory. The righty averages a 70-74 mph fastball with a 60 mph curveball. He portrays a ¾ arm slot with a high leg kick and long stride. Most of his fastballs end up arm side as they have quality run to them while his curveball has depth. In addition, Huber shows well at the plate as well, with a loose operation and compact swing.
