C/MIF Brady Dunnett (Oswego, 2027) would emerge as a versatile, left-handed bat to follow within the state’s rising junior class. Showing a compact left-handed swing, the Oswego product was on the barrel throughout gameplay, after sporting a 91 mph max exit velocity during his batting practice. Defensively showed quality instincts both behind the plate and on the dirt. During the workout, produced poptimes within the 2.00-2.15 second ranges showing clean transfers and confident glovework. On the dirt would show athletic actions and an arm up to 84 mph from across the diamond. Compact 5-foot-7, 166-pound frame.

Dunnett showed high baseball IQ on Friday. The left-handed hitting catcher hit out of the leadoff spot, producing QAB after QAB for his Knight's baseball team. Dunnett has a gritty approach at the plate, not looking to do too much and letting his body do the work. He has a simple setup, swing, and trigger with a slightly uphill swing path. Defensively, the backstop showed steady actions and leadership, with a quality arm that kept the running game in check. Versatility is also a proponent of Dunnett's game, as he also flashed sure-handed actions in the infield.
