Positional Profile: OF/1B LHH/OF will add strength for solid build in future. Plus athlete/runner, will increase speed in future.. Moves well in OF, range present. Solid bat/power combo, will hit, can firm approach and swing with minor adjustments. Player will be fun to watch develop, future pro prospect. Quality AB's in game play, came from football practice and hit balls hard over the 2 days during game play.
Body: 6-0, 190-pounds. Athletic with good build to continue to add strength. Solid build in future.
Hit: LHH. Lower 1/2 works well, back foot gets rotated, drives forward with back foot, getting lower 1/2 driving forward. Hits into firm front leg. Stride foot rolls slightly onto side of foot, occasionally into heel…hindering complete use of lower 1/2 in swing, balance hindered as well. Stay in ground of stride foot, hit from ground up. Barrel/hands in nice launch position, slight barrel tip over top of head created with elbow raising with stride. Monitor launch position in future, working to avoid anymore barrel tip. Plus HS bat speed now, will continue to firm. 71.1 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 87.9 mph. 357' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future. Opportunities present to firm swing and approach. Bat speed present. Upside. Athletic in box.
