Carter, a 6-foot-4, 170 pound frame had an impressive outing this weekend against the Midwest Halos. He tossed a complete game with 13 punchouts and only allowed one hit. Carter's fastball was sitting 85-88 mph and topping out at 88 mph, exploding out of the hand with finish through the zone. The curveball was sitting 75-77 mph with 2250 rpm, showing depth and pairing effectively off fastballs at the top of the zone. Mechanically he has a clean and smooth delivery throwing from a high ¾ slot. High-upside arm set to toe the rubber for Wisconsin at the Future Games in a couple weeks.

Uncommitted, Carter was a steady contributor at the plate across four games. Going 8-for-12 on the week with five RBIs a walk and a double.

Uses ground well, leverages the ball out front with long levers, quick hands and bat, back spins it to all fields. 68.4 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.

Carter has a lean 6-foot-3, 168-pound build with sloped shoulders and much more in the tank. On the mound, the right-hander impressed with a fastball up to 86.5 mph, sitting 84-86 mph with life out of the hand, playing mostly at the top of the zone. He flashed a sharp 11/5 curveball with depth at 74-76 mph, showing out-pitch potential. With the bat, Carter has an inside path and gets quality extension through the baseball while showing the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Throughout his round, Carter registered a max exit velocity of 93.6 mph and averaged 88.1 mph. Carter also showcased impressive actions during the outfield portion of the event and showed off his arm that topped at 88 mph with carry and accuracy through the target.

Carter stands at 6-foot-3, 160-pounds with long levers and a high waist. During batting practice, he showed power and a whole field approach. His max exit velocity was 91 mph, and he showed quick hands that generated a quick bat (72.4 mph max). Defensively, Carter showed athletic actions with a strong arm, and worked in-line on his throws to home where he recorded a max velocity of 85 mph. He showed well in his bullpen, where he showed a three-pitch mix. Carter is listed at a long 6-foot-1, 145 pounds with room to fill out. At the plate, he has a simple move and quick hands allowing him to consistently find the barrel and impact the baseball to both gaps. On the mound, he drives the ball downhill with a consistent repeatable delivery with a quick arm and good finish through pitches. He also features the ability to spin a breaking ball and land a change up keeping hitters off balance. His ability both in the outfield and on the mound make Carter an impressive prospect who just missed our top-15 for the class.

Carter is a lanky athlete listed at 6-foot-1, 145 pounds, and he moves with intent during baseball-specific moves. In the box, he set up wide with balance, made an up-down stride, and swung the bat with quickness and intent. The barrel lagged from inside, and produced high degrees of backspin. In the outfield, he generated a longer loop motion that travels tight to the body and works with downhill action to release. Carter looked athletic throughout the defensive portion, showcasing quickness in his highly projectable stature. His throws home topped 78 mph, but they carried to the target and project for considerably more as he matures. That arm projects well similarly from the mound, where he was up to 73.9 mph.
