LHP Drew Stettbacher (Horace Mann, 2027; Central Michigan commit) tossed one of the best bullpen sessions we’ve seen in the last couple of winter circuits to date. An extremely deceptive look from the left-side, slight cross-fire delivery and a low 3/4 arm slot. The left-hander maintains posture over the rubber as he moves down the mound, pumping his fastball in at 87-89 mph with the ability to angle the ball into all four quadrants. His slider plays with larger and late action at 19.2” of sweep and 2,244 RPM. Looks and profiles as an out pitch that can generate both in and out of zone misses. He also displayed a changeup that flashed late movement that featured an outlier 21.0” of HM. The three pitch mix arsenal was downright nasty and has solidified the junior as one of the top prospects in the state of Wisconsin.

+ Drew Stettbacher, LHP (Horace Mann): Stands in an athletic, 6-foot-1, 173-pound frame with room for physical development to come. He's a simple mover on the mound with a lower arm slot, showing a fastball in the low-80s with plenty of arm-side action, averaging -20.3 inches of horizontal movement. He turned to a slider at 68-72 mph with sweeping action, and a change-up with heavy fade (avg. -21.8"), sitting in the low-70s. Throughout his two-inning stint, Stettbacher attacked the zone and produced weak contact from hitters. A Future Games participant in 2025, he's an uncommitted name to know in Wisconsin.
Future Games 2025: LHP Drew Stettbacher (Horace Man) was battling the elements throughout his outing, but offered a look at a low 80s fastball with some arm-side life. He also offered a changeup in the 72-74 mph range that came with depth, and a 68-71 mph slider with some 2/8 sweep through the zone. Stettbacher moves well on the mound, showing repeatability in his delivery and throwing out of a true ¾ slot. He stands in at a lean 6-foot-1, 173-pounds, and there is more room for additional strength in his frame. If he can continue to add velo and develop on the mound, he could be a can’t-miss name to know from the left side.
Currently ranked No. 48 in Wisconsin’s 2027 class. Coming in at a high-waisted, projectable 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame, Stettbacher had a stellar showing on the bump to give GRB Rays North Green a 9-2 victory on Sunday. The left-hander worked out of a controlled up-tempo delivery, utilizing a high leg kick into a deceptive slight cross-fire finish, showing a loose low ¾ arm action. He was able to consistently miss barrels with his three-pitch mix, securing ten strikeouts through six innings of work. His fastball was located well around the zone, sitting 82-85 mph with heavy arm-side run. He also utilized a sweeping curveball at 69-71 mph that flashed out-pitch potential, and a late fading changeup at 72-74 mph. An overall impressive performance from the left-hander, who will be representing Team Wisconsin at the Future Games.
+ LHP Drew Stettbacher (Horace Mann, 2027) would show well in his bullpen on Sunday. The left-handed arm worked from an uptempo, rhythmic delivery while slinging it from a low 3/4s slot with quick arm that generated fastballs in the low-80s (T84). Also showed an upper-60s curveball with big lateral sweeping shape and an upper-60s-low-70s changeup with late fade and depth. Must know name in the emerging Wisconsin 2027 class. 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame.
