7.88
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
80.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.

The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
7.91
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.

The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.
Gavin Gorman, PARACLETE HIGH SCHOOL (CA), 2028 Positional Profile: 3B/RHP Shows sounds present foundation across the board with potential both as a RHH INF or RHP prospect with plenty of time to develop. Body: 5-11, 156-pounds. Wiry lean but athletic build with plenty of room to fill Delivery: Lower hand set with the hands leading up first and the knee slightly behind before leading down the mound with his front leg and dropping his hips down to drive down the mound. Shows tempo in the delivery with solid ability to block on front leg. Strong foundation of mechanics with athleticism. Arm Action: RH. Full clean arm path with depth downward out of the glove while staying behind his body as it works up to a high 3/4 release point with some present arm speed, but room to improve. Shows small recoil after release. FB: T75, 72-74 mph. Controls the FB well with more ride than run and solid present spin. Velocity will come with maturity T2081, 1964 average rpm. CB: 65-65 mph. Softer CB with some depth to it and slight horizontal break T1740, 1740 average rpm. CUT: 67-71 mph. ATH: 7.88 runner in the 60. Slight tilt in run posture with ability to maintain stride length.

Body: 5-11, 156-pounds. Wiry lean but athletic build with plenty of room to fill Hit: RHH. Wide base with slightly open front foot and crouch to his knees with slight hip hinge. Hands are set just above the rear shoulder with low back elbow. Alternated between a no stride load and simple toe tap with a shift of his weight into backside. Tilting the barrel to load his hands. Quickness in his hips with taller posture through the turn. Uses a direct handpath with leverage in swing path through the zone. 61 mph bat speed with 3 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 65.7 mph. 146' max distance. Shows feel to get the baseball in the air, but harder contact is on the line drive plane. Some inconsistency to rhythm/timing affected contact quality. Profiles as line to line LD hitter with doubles power at present. Arm: RH. INF-77 mph. Short drawback with hand/elbow into a quick arm stroke with carry on throws out of hand. Shows long term left side of INF potential. Defense: Plays with body control and sure hands while demonstrating feel for angles and timing. More fundamental than dynamic at present, but there is plenty to see him to stay on the left side of the INF. ATH: 7.88 runner in the 60. Slight tilt in run posture with ability to maintain stride length.
