Anderson put on a display during his workout at the Bakersfield Summer ID that earned him an invite to the West Coast Games. Once he stepped on the field at Loyola Marymount University the dynamic athlete showed once again the high level collection of tools he possesses. Opening the day by running a pair of 60 yard sprints with the first registering 6.54 seconds and then posting an event best 6.45 time on his second try with his 1.55 10 yard and 3.57 30 yard splits also being event best times his 21.4 MPH max run speed was second best at the event. He then moved over to the defensive workout where he showed off a solid present arm tool with a 85 MPH OF arm velocity (up from 80 MPH at the Bakersfield event) while moving with easy athleticism around the OF grass. While his explosive athleticism and CF defensive profile are enticing on their own premise it's not the only way that Anderson stood out during the workout with his round of batting practice opening eyes even further to his present ability and future upside. The RH hitter showed off an ability to impact the baseball with authority during his Bakersfield ID batting practice, but took it up a notch at LMU posting personal bests now in the hand speed (23.5 MPH), bat speed (74.7 MPH), rotational acceleration (27.3 Gs) on Blast Motion. His explosive operation in the batters box combines with a strong feel for timing/approach to produce loud batted ball metrics on Trackman. Anderson posted personal bests of 102.4 MPH max exit velocity, 97.9 MPH average exit velocity with an 88% hard hit rate. The Bakersfield Christian product has now twice shown a dynamic speed/power profile that profiles as a high ceiling CF product that is going to be a tremendous land for someone at the next level while undoubtedly continuing to push his profile up the 2026 rankings board come the end of the fall.
