TrackMan, Blast Motion, and VALD Performance provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on a dynamic 2026 player who is featured inside the Top 175 of our 2026 California rankings. We are looking at the Central Valley based '26 OF London Anderson from Bakersfield Christian High School in Bakersfield, Calif.. The athletic Anderson has made two appearances on the Prep Baseball California event platform starting with an electric showing at the Bakersfield Summer ID. His performance in Bakersfield earned him an invite to the 2025 West Coast Games where Anderson was even better across the board with an outstanding workout day and then three games played with multiple hits and multiple dynamic OF plays.

During his JR. season with Bakersfield Christian Anderson was a key performer on an Eagles squad which went 12-0 to win their league title while going 19-9-1 overall with a run to the CIF-Central Section D1 Quarterfinals. Anderson took 83 plate appearances with 74 total at bats in 29 games played. His season slash line was .392/.439/.519 with a total of 29 hits on the year, five going for extra bases (two doubles, two triples and one homer). Anderson stole 10 bases to create havoc for the Eagles offense while drawing seven walks on the year. He produced 15 RBIs while scoring 22 runs himself and made just one error on the year in the OF.

The RH hitting Anderson uses a simple load in the box with an innate feel for being on time both at launch and with barrel accuracy at contact. Anderson uses the middle of the consistently in his approach, but can go line to line with hard contact. The swing operation itself is explosive which speaks to the level of athleticism and emerging strength the Bakersfield product possesses. His hips rotate intriguing present torque and a peak rotational acceleration of 27.3 Gs while showing present fash hands up to 23.5 MPH peak hand speed. Anderson has the present bat speed at 74.7 MPH. His athletic operation in the box combined with the strength in his swing and sound approach/timing produces impressive batted ball data via Trackman including a max EV up to 102.4 MPH while averaging 97.9 MPH on his EV during the West Coast Games batting practice (was also north of 100 MPH on his max EV in Bakersfield). London hits the ball hard at an impressive rate with an 88% hard hit rate while showing carry to the pull side gap with a 355' max distance. There is still some rawness to his angles with the bat path showing potential for impact in the air, but can continue to improve his process for getting there more consistently.

Anderson has an athletic present build with emerging strength to it across his upper body and lower body. He measured in at 5'10 170.4 lbs at the West Coast Games looking comfortably able to add another 10-20 lbs. on his frame. He is a dynamic athlete who has run a 6.45 60 yard dash time at the West Coast Games (6.5 on hand time at the Bakersfield Summer ID). Anderson has impressive burst in the early portion with a 1.55 10 yard split, builds aggressively early with a 3.57 30 yard split and reaches a max speed of 21.4 MPH. The athletic profile and natural foot speed for Anderson combined with his impressive instincts, routes and body control moving in CF give him an impact defensive profile now and in the long term with an arm that reaches 85 MPH from the OF to be solid weapon as a thrower from the OF.

The overall athletic profile for Anderson when combined with his impressive baseball tools, evidence of performance during the high school/travel/showcase circuit and room to continue polishing his baseball profile and add more strength make Anderson one of the more intriguing, dynamic profiles in the 2026 uncommitted players on the board.

Anderson put on a display during his workout at the Bakersfield Summer ID that earned him an invite to the West Coast Games. Once he stepped on the field at Loyola Marymount University the dynamic athlete showed once again the high level collection of tools he possesses. Opening the day by running a pair of 60 yard sprints with the first registering 6.54 seconds and then posting an event best 6.45 time on his second try with his 1.55 10 yard and 3.57 30 yard splits also being event best times his 21.4 MPH max run speed was second best at the event. He then moved over to the defensive workout where he showed off a solid present arm tool with a 85 MPH OF arm velocity (up from 80 MPH at the Bakersfield event) while moving with easy athleticism around the OF grass. While his explosive athleticism and CF defensive profile are enticing on their own premise it's not the only way that Anderson stood out during the workout with his round of batting practice opening eyes even further to his present ability and future upside. The RH hitter showed off an ability to impact the baseball with authority during his Bakersfield ID batting practice, but took it up a notch at LMU posting personal bests now in the hand speed (23.5 MPH), bat speed (74.7 MPH), rotational acceleration (27.3 Gs) on Blast Motion. His explosive operation in the batters box combines with a strong feel for timing/approach to produce loud batted ball metrics on Trackman. Anderson posted personal bests of 102.4 MPH max exit velocity, 97.9 MPH average exit velocity with an 88% hard hit rate. The Bakersfield Christian product has now twice shown a dynamic speed/power profile that profiles as a high ceiling CF product that is going to be a tremendous land for someone at the next level while undoubtedly continuing to push his profile up the 2026 rankings board come the end of the fall.
