Hit: LHH. Rotational back with linear movement, drive back foot forward towards pitcher. Presently works towards 2nd base. This will allow lower 1/2 to fully engage. Hits into firm front leg. Solid posture at contact. Stride foot rolls onto side of foot after contact. Barrel/hands in good launch position, hands work down..take hands on direct path to hit zone, barrel will follow. Cuts swing off, take hands down inside line of batters with extension thru baseball eliminating cutting off swing. 62.4 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.

Delivery: Stretch only, high knee lift, drifts thru balance point. 1st base side start, cast stride leg out and down slope. Lands with cross step stride, gets over front leg. Slight fall at finish. Work directionally towards plate.
Arm Action: RH. Full circle, works well with extension out front. Arm drags/late at times, elbow gets low occasionally. Arm speed will develop. L 3/4 slot.

Ball shows a solid approach at the plate with flashes of hard contact throughout his rounds. There is a solid foundation to build upon offensively, and with continued reps, he'll refine his ability to control the barrel, especially on pitches away. He moves well in the outfield and already shows some carry on his throws. As his arm strength continues to improve, he has a chance to become a strong all-around defender. He ran a 7.19 60 and projects to be at least an average runner, with the potential to become a plus runner as he matures. Ball's natural tools are evident, and continued physical development will enhance his overall profile.
