Future Games 2025: OF Carter Fry (Wisconsin-Lutheran) had his athleticism and tools on full display throughout the week. Fry put up a 6.44 60-time during the showcase portion of the Future Games, which was the fastest time among those on Team Wisconsin. The rising-junior steps into the box with a tall setup and really utilizes his lower half throughout the swing as well as producing quality bat-speed. He put up a 98.4 mph max exit velocity throughout his round of BP. Fry had a strong showing throughout his three games played, going 3-for-9 on the weekend. His performance on Saturday saw him go 2-for-3 with a double and a home run and two RBIs, which lead to him winning MVP honors in the 10-6 win against Illinois.

Fry is centerfield prospect who started his day by running an eye-popping 6.44 seconds 60-yard dash which was one of the fastest of the day. Fry gets to his top end speed extremely quickly and can really turn them over once he is underway. With the bat, Fry hit with a short and direct hand path and shows surprising strength in his hands and delivered one of the top max exit velocities of the day at 98.4 mph. Carter Fry is a name that is on the radar of the coaches in attendance after yesterday’s performance during the workout.
Fry would continue to show a dynamic toolset that makes him one of the most intriguing names in Wisconsin's 2027 class. At the plate, the right-handed hitter would go 2-for-3 with a double and home run. With wiry strength and explosive hands through contact, Fry has the makings of a high-leverage bat. Additionally, the sophomore has evident acumen in center field with above-average range and routes thanks to his top-of-the-scale speed. A ton of projection in his 5-foot-10, 148-pound frame.

Fry starting his day by running a blazing 6.58 seconds 60 yard dash which was the second best time of the event and one of the fastest times recorded in for the winter. His 27.7 inch vertical jump was the third best number recorded at the event. Fry continues to display remarkable athleticism despite the fact that he has a lot more physical development left in his frame at 5-foot-10, 148 pounds. During hitting, he hit with a remarkably smooth downhill right handed swing and showed an innate knack for the barrel producing a max EV of 95 mph. Fry is poised for a monster sophomore season and our staff is extremely high on the Wisconsin Lutheran product.

Donning the top of the Halos National lineup, Fry was the ideal leadoff across the weekend. Fry was all over the barrel with numerous shots to the gap and balls that landed to the sides of outfielders. Fry’s tools are clear to see as the 5-foot-10, 140-pound athlete flies around the basepaths and provides a spark to an offense with walks turning into doubles and triples via stolen bases. With said speed available to him, Fry captained the outfield and displayed a wide defensive range. Currently ranked No. 22 in Wisconsin, Fry has immense tools to build on throughout his high school years and is certainly a name to keep an eye on throughout the summer season.
