There is no better recruiting event than the PBR Future Games, but with so much talent present (and all of it uncommitted), it can be overwhelming for those who come in unprepared. Each player comes highly regarded with a chance to play at the next level, so finding a starting point for what to watch becomes paramount. My preparation for the event starts by finding the players that I “must see”. These are guys who I have seen in the past, been tracking all summer, or come with strong praise from our many boots-on-the-ground scouts. There will be plenty more names and breakout performances throughout the week, and I eagerly anticipate seeing/capturing those moments, but for now, here is a look at Shooter’s Cheat Sheet of players to follow.
