The righty pitched a phenomenal game, going all 7 for the complete game shutout. Jennings came out and challenged the opposing lineup. He mixed his FB and CB well with the ability to throw both for strikes. He didn’t face the best lineup, but still went out there and did what he had to do, only giving up 2 free passes and 5 total base runners. After giving up 2 hits in the first, he ended the game with 6 innings of 1 hit baseball. The speed discrepancy between the heater and the off speed contributed to his success, keeping batters guessing and off balance. The backdoor CB to lefties looked great as he landed it multiple times throughout the night. His final line was 7 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 2 BB, and 6 K.
