2025 Senior Future Games: C Andrew Satunas (Lockport, 2026) has been a name on the rise over the past year or so, and it’s easy to see why. His left-handed swing continues to trend up, and he was on the barrel in BP with a peak EV of 96.7 mph working to both gaps with some lift at times - also averaging 72.6 mph for his bat-speed. The catch/throw is also above-average, showing steady/sure-handed actions with a clean glove-to hand and quality arm (T75 mph; 1.93 pop-time). 7.08 runner in the 60 to pair.
One of the top uncommitted backstops in Illinois, Satunas would continue to show a quality profile before heading for the Senior Future Games. At the plate showed a quality left-handed bat with a line-drive oriented approach, above-average bat speed, and pull-side tendencies. Finished the tournament 4-for-11 with three triples, two RBIs, and four runs scored. 5-foot-9, 185-pound frame with present strength.
Uncommitted, the backstop swung it well against high quality arms, posting a line of five hits, double, home run, five RBI's, and a 1.390 OPS across the week.
Uncommitted, the backstop had another strong week for the Porters, going 6-for-11 at the plate, for a .545 avg on the week, along with 2 RBI's.
Uncommitted, Satunas had a quality week hitting finishing 4-for-10 with two RBIs, two runs, and two doubles.
Drew Satunas, C, Lockport, 2026 Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 131 in the state. Sturdy, well-proportioned 5-foot-9, 183-pound frame. Started behind the plate and batted sixth for the Porters. Left-handed hitter was all over the barrel, making loud contact consistently, while showing a mature approach. Relaxed and simple setup, hitterish look, fluid load, short leg lift stride, athletic and direct path. Went 2-for-3 with a double, while using the whole field. Defensively, he has a mature presence behind the dish and field general qualities; relaxed, one-knee receiver, loose-wristed, works up through the baseball, presents pitches, steals strikes. A high-level backstop to continue to monitor this spring.
C Andrew Satunas (Lockport, 2026) has been a name our staff has liked over the years, and he gave us one of his best looks to date. A left-handed hitter, Satunas has a strong and compact operation that is able to stay balanced through impact, flashing bat-speed with a flatter path, showing some feel for the barrel to his pull-side (T94 mph; 89 mph avg. EV). He had a strong round defensively, improving his pop-time to a 1.85 with a controlled glove-to-hand, working quickly out of the glove and short to the ear (T76 mph).

C Andrew Satunas (Lockport, 2026) was one of the first hitters on the day and also gave one of the better looks. The left-handed hitter has a simple and quiet load that allows him to repeat with ease, staying short to the ball with a direct path, working on the barrel with loud results to his pull-side with natural lift at times. Satunas also took a quality round of defense behind the plate, displaying a clean/quick glove to hand on the transfer, working in-line with second to create a pop-time as low as 2.05 seconds (T75 mph).
