The 2024 high school baseball season is officially underway. Each week we will update our Power25 HS Rankings with Risers, Fallers, and Newcomers to the rankings. We look forward to covering high school games this spring and hearing your feedback on who you think should be ranked where. Take a look at our Week 5 update.

Risers

#1 IMG Academy

IMG Academy moves up to #1 heading into Week 5. A big 3-0 win over #8 St. Johns Country Day last week helped IMG make the jump. IMG is 9-1 and has some very tough wins.

#12 Seminole

Seminole continues its hot start to the season moving to 10-0. They had their biggest win of the season last week knocking off #10 Calvary Christian. They then dominated Anclote 18-1 to close out the week.

#13 Jesuit

After a slow start to the season, Jesuit has now rattled off seven wins in a row including winning the Saladino Tournament. Four wins in four days over Strawberry Crest, Leto, Lennard, and Jefferson. Jesuit is on a roll to start March.

Fallers

NR Sickles

Sickles suffered two losses during the Saladino Tournament last week. A 6-2 loss to Lennard then a 3-0 loss to Alonso. They beat Plant City 11-3 but those two losses cost them a spot in the Power25.

NR Montverde Academy

After a couple of weeks inside the Power25, Montverde Academy will fall out this week. They had a rough going in Week 4 with a 0-4 record. Losses to Bolles, IMG Academy Grey, Martin County, and Eustis knock Montverde out of the rankings.

Newcomers

#15 Monsignor Pace (Miami)

Pace is off to a 9-0 start of the season and makes their Power25 debut this week. A big win over #17 Miami Christian followed a 16-1 win over Mater Lakes Academy. The Spartans are hot to begin the year.

#22 Venice

Venice has rattled off ten straight wins after losing their opening contest. They have played a tough schedule so far and have some big wins including #13 Jesuit, Columbia, Trinity Catholic, and CCC.

#23 Rockledge

Rockledge is 12-0 to start the season and have some impressive wins. They have beaten Melbourne, Merritt Island, and Harmony. The Raiders are outscoring opponents 101-11 on the season and look to continue their strong start.

#24 Lincoln

Despite having four losses, Lincoln has perhaps the most impressive win in the country on their resume. They knocked off #2 Stoneman Douglas and ended their 59-game winning streak. They have a tough matchup coming up this week as they take on #9 Arnold.

#25 Cardinal Gibbons

Cardinal Gibbons makes their Power25 debut this week. A 10-1-1 record which includes ten straight wins. The Chiefs are on a roll this month and look to continue that with some tough matchups coming up.
