Game Preview:  The Central Valley foes come into this matchup after meeting up in the finals of the Fresno Easter Classic in which the Broncos came away with a 8-1 victory. Now as they prepare to face-off in 3 league games that will factor heavily in the determining the eventual Tri-River League champion the Broncos will turn to a pitching staff which has been absolutely electric all spring having allowed only 30 runs in their 17 games this spring to hold the Cougars offense which has produced 115 runs in 17 games on the spring. While the Clovis pitching staff has been solid allowing 75 runs over the course of 17 games they will have to face off with a consistent Broncos lineup that has plated 110 runs on the spring. Both teams have played stellar defense on the spring which combined with quality pitching could make runs hard to come by over the course of the 3 game series. But, each teams lineups appear to be up to the task with their consistent offensive production throughout the spring. The winner of this series will put themselves in the drivers seat towards a league title.
