EMERSON, GA—The Georgia Dugout Club Tournament began Friday at LakePoint with each participating team playing one game. The main attraction for scouts was 3B Jordan Walker (Decatur HS, GA), a Duke recruit and currently the No. 16 prospect in the country. It didn’t take long for him to make an impression, launching the third pitch he saw to left field for a home run. He added a double to lead off the eighth inning and finished 2-for-4 with a walk, strikeout and two runs scored.
