Week in Review returns in the thick of Autumn, recapping all of the crisp happenings throughout Prep Baseball. Fall ID events are in full swing with more on schedule across the nation, the latest in podcasts and articles from Draft HQ and states, exclusive Prep Baseball Shop deals, fall JUCO action, and more.

DRAFT HQ

2026 MLB Draft: In the MLB Draft, leverage is key for players hoping to hear their names called and begin their careers in professional baseball. One group that might hold some of the most leverage are draft-eligible college sophomores. Considered to be “old for the class” at the prep level, they suddenly become the youngest of college selections. Before the new year, Director of College Scouting, David Seifert and VP of Scouting, Shooter Hunt shared some of sophomore’s who can be selected in the first round of this upcoming draft and which prep prospects this year can do the same in 2028 if they attend college. College Crosscheck: Texas A&M’s fall schedule had TCU come to College Station and play in an extra-inning affair with the Aggies coming out on top. On sight to witness, Seifert saw the likes of Super 60 and Prep Baseball All-American alumni, potential first round talent, and more in the ‘College Crosscheck’. More>>
