The third member of the Oaks Christian trio came into the event with plenty of hype and Dauskurdas more than lived up to it during the workout. Measuring in with an impressive 6'3 194.5 lbs. frame Dauskurdas is not only physical at present, but boasts the length/room in his frame to continue adding strength as he matures. Then for good measure he is an intriguing athlete who may have CF defensive potential in his profile including running a 6.96 60 with 1.65 10 yard and 3.89 30 yard splits while reaching 20 MPH with his max run speed. Dauskurdas shows arm strength from the OF peaking at 88 MPH which will suit him fine in the corners if that is where his eventual OF defensive home finds him. No matter where that defensive spot is the RH bat for Oliver is projecting to be a middle of the order profile. During batting practice Oliver reached 97.6 MPH on his max exit velocity (Top 10 for players from California in attendance) with upward trending metrics for his swing including now 24.9 MPH of hand speed and 75.6 MPH of bat speed. Each of those three metrics are personal bests for the SoCal based product plus he posted 11 Gs of rotational acceleration another personal best.

One of the top ranked players from any class in attendance Dauskurdas was impressive in his initial Prep Baseball California appearance at the Central California Preseason All State before seeing time on the varsity level at Oaks Christian. The strongly built two-way checked in at 6'3 198.6 lbs for this event and flashed real present tools across the board as both a position player and righthanded pitcher. A strong athlete for his size Dauskurdas ran a 6.98 60 yard dash (third at the event) nearly reaching 20 MPH (19.9 MPH) for his max run speed with the type of athletic ability that provides defensive versatility. He showed solid present feel to his actions in the OF with an 80 MPH OF arm velocity that was accurate on his throws before stepping onto the INF to flash an interesting 3B potential profile with solid footwork, sound hands and 84 MPH INF arm velocity with carry and accuracy to his throws. Dauskurdas is a power profile hitter who uses an uphill swing to produce hard contact in the air with loft and carry to his batted ball profile that showed well during two rounds of batting practice (97.3 MPH max exit velocity / 89.2 MPH average exit velocity / 359' max distance / 55.9% fly ball rate / 55% hard hit rate). His position player profile is strong, but don't rule out a future for him on the mound with a clean repeatable delivery that stays online consistently down the mound with body control and solid present arm speed his bullpen session was one of the best on the night. Dauskurdas threw his FB at 83.2 MPH to 84.3 MPH consistently in the zone (100% in zone rate). Backing it up with a sweepy type SLD at 67.5 - 69.7 MPH that he flashed feel to land in the zone and a 76.6 - 77.9 MPH CHG he landed in the zone at a 66% clip with quality arm side movement to the pitch.

Delivery: Hands start high in set position before working to hips to sync with front knee in the load portion of the delivery. Stays taller in the move down the mound with length to his stride. Hips work with feel to block on the front leg and holds direction well. Controlled operation with repeatability.
Arm Action: RH. Longer arm path out of the glove that works back with depth behind the body. Shows present arm speed and looseness to get to release on time. High 3/4 slot with minimal recoil after release.
FB: T82, 79-81 mph. Solid present pitch which gets swings/soft contact and plays well down in the zone T1815, 1615 average rpm.
CB: 66-68 mph. Sweepier like CB that plays more like a SLV and gets soft contact T1975, 1819 average rpm.
ATH: 7.06 runner in the 60. Athletic mover with ability to maintain stride length/speed and body control.

Hit: RHH. Taller posture with slight knee bend from an open stance with width to his base. Hands are set at shoulder height off rear shoulder with vertical bat angle and low back elbow. Small leg kick with sit into rear hip to start load while tipping his barrel to load hands. Lands balanced at launch with aggressive hip turn. Uphill barrel path with present bat speed and hands that work to deliver the barrel on time. Stays behind the ball with his body. Hit with power profile.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 91.4 mph. 371' max distance. Lives more in the air with his contact while consistently barreling the ball with authority. Impact has carry from CF to LF foul line with HR power and will grow into opposite field HR power.
Arm: RH. INF-80 mph. Present arm speed with easy operation that shows online carry and accuracy. Arm profiles to corners on INF/OF.
Defense: Good body control with solid footwork and soft glove work. Can play laterally with ability to show range. Comes downhill well. Fits in all corner defense spots potentially.
