Fulton went 9-for-15 at the plate with three home runs and three doubles. He totaled seven RBIs and nine runs scored, highlighted by two solo home runs against conference rival Mt. Carmel.
Fulton went 7-for-12 at the plate, collecting two doubles, two home runs, four RBI, eight runs scored, two walks, and seven stolen bases. One of his home runs was a walk-off hit against Cowden Herrick/Beecher City on Friday.
Ranked No. 14 in the state's sophomore class, No. 154 overall. Stands in an advanced and athletic 6-foot-2, 227-pound frame with strength throughout. Batted leadoff and started at second base, finishing the day 2-for-3 with an inside the park home run, an RBI, three runs scored and a walk. A switch-hitter, showed an easy swing with power from the left side, stayed simple and direct to the ball with the feel to work all fields. Heading into the summer, Fulton is a must-know uncommitted bat in the class.
Listed at a strong, physical 6-foot-2, 227 pounds, Fulton is no stranger to Prep Baseball events and continues to show well thanks to his powerful switch-hitting profile. From both sides of the plate, he has quiet hands, generating easy power from the left side and easy strength with uphill intent from the right. The ball jumps off his bat, averaging 90.3 mph exit velocity with a max EV of 98 mph, consistently lifting balls to both gaps that results in a high percentage of line drives and fly balls. His 6.96 60-yard dash and 1.66 10-yard split stand out for his size. Fulton continues to solidify himself as a name to know in the class.

1B Quincy Fulton (Newton, 2028) measured in 6-foot-1, 211-pounds and came in as one of the top 2028’s in the state. Fulton is as physical as it gets for a 2028. Fulton finished the week 3-for-6 with a walk and a run. Also, impressed in the showcase with a top EV of 101, averaging 91 mph and ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Fulton has all the tools and is currently the fifth ranked 2028 in the state, No. 122 nationally.

1B Quincy Fulton (Newton, 2028) stands out right away with his 6-foot-1, 209-pound frame, and he holds some of the biggest power potential not just in the state, but likely the country. Currently slotted at No. 2 in Illinois and No. 72 in the country, Fulton is a switch-hitter that has shown big juice from both sides of the plate. He showed easy strength at impact with not much perceived effort, and he also showed a natural feel to lift the baseball with loud contact at times, reaching up to 98 mph for his EV with a 348’ max distance. He also put up some impressive BLAST numbers with an average bat-speed of 75 mph, peaking at just under 80 mph.

One of the more impressive looks on the day was from switch hitting 1B Quincy Fulton (Newton, 2028). Listed at 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, Fulton is physically advanced for his age with plenty of present strength throughout. Also a standout on the basketball court and in track, he’s an above-average athlete for his impressive size with a 7.24 in the 60. He has a loose, controlled swing from both sides of the plate, working with minimal perceived effort to create a max exit velocity of 96.8 mph with a whole field approach from both sides. He moves well around the bag at first base, and also showed confidence on short-hops and receiving throws from across the diamond.
Jay Baird (N/A), Quincy Fulton (Newton), Kameron Cox (Lyons Township) and Gavin Jones (Bishop McNamara) are a few 2028s that showed well and should be names to watch in the coming years.
