Scouting Notes: 6-foot-2, 205-pound infielder did most of his work for scouts in attendance prior to the start of the game. Right-handed hitter flashed his present home run power by launching several wood bat BP home runs while consistently driving the baseball to all parts of the park. Moved well during in-and-out taking balls at both 3B and at SS. Displays fluid defensive actions with the athleticism to stay on the left side of the infield, but arm strength may be a concern. Swung wood in game action as well. Saw nothing but breaking balls in three at bats. Laced a 2-2 breaking ball to left field in his first at bat, popped out to 2B in his second at bat and walked on five pitches in his third at bat.
