Hudson Valley took down Downstate, 4-1. Downstate scored its lone run in the seventh inning, and most notable about the outcome is Hudson Valley used five total pitchers to throw a combined one-run game.

The quintet allowed just four hits, two of which came in the final frame, and they struck out five batters along the way. Colby Dunlop (2017, Millbrook School) threw the first two innings and reached 85 mph with his fastball while earning two strikeouts.
