NORMAL, IL - Heartland CC and Illinois State University hosted their annual scout days with each team going through a pro style workout and then a 7-inning scrimmage game. The JUCO Wire was present and will have updates on Heartland with bonus coverage on Illinois State.

HEARTLAND HIGHLIGHTS

Sophomore SS/OF Carter Bridge (Lafayette Harrison, IN, 2016) transferred to Heartland after spending his freshman year at Western Michigan. Small athletic frame at 6-foot, 175-pounds. Bridge had a standout performance for the Hawks in both the workout and in game.
