The JUCO Wire is a new weekly feature that will continue to build on the Prep Baseball Report’s unparalleled coverage of amateur baseball across the country. HEARTLAND/ILLINOIS STATE SCOUT DAY

• I was in attendance on Tuesday as Heartland (IL) and Illinois State held their Scout Day’s followed by a scrimmage.

• Sophomore LHP Austin Moralis (Lockport, IL, 2015) was one of the more intriguing arms for Heartland, He topped out at 92 mph with his fastball complimented by a curveball with depth and the ability to throw it for strikes.
