The draft is a month away. It feels like it’s right on top of us, but that’s still plenty of time for things to develop. I’ll be heading to Indiana on Tuesday for what is probably my last trip relevant to the 2015 class. It’ll be a loaded few days as I’m targeting starts by RHPs Ashe Russell (Cathedral HS, IN), Nolan Watson (Lawrence North HS, IN), Bryan Hoeing (Batesville HS, IN) and Jarrett Montgomery (Lawrence Central HS, IN).

Who do you think are the top underclassmen in Kansas this year?
The 2016 class in Kansas is loaded. I’m hardly the first to say that. We’ve been talking about that for a while and I know scouts are already looking forward to it for the draft next year. Coincidentally, it got stronger last week with the addition of a top prospect.
