Anson McGorman RHP / SS / Ballenas, BC / 2021Report: 6-foot-1,165-pound right-hander out of the Parksville Royals organization was outstanding on Friday. He works from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action outback, landing across his body with good hip rotation, allowing him to get out front. The arm works quick up to 88 mph, sitting in the 86-88 mph range early. He mixed in both a curveball and a changeup. He used his curveball both for strikes and strikeouts; the pitch displayed 11/5 shape and tight rotation. It’s a projectable body with plenty of room to add strength. McGorman is a must-follow out of British Columbia.
