With the recent coaching change at Purdue, 2016 RHP Michael McAvene (Roncalli HS, IN) has de-committed from the Boilermakers. A strong, projectable righty, McAvene stands at 6-foot-5, 208 pounds. He can pitch at 89-93 mph, touching 94-95 this spring. Despite returning to the recruiting market so late, he has major programs like Auburn, Florida, Louisville and Virginia at the top of his list.
