Updated 2025 Overall Rankings
April 11, 2025
As spring begins its final stretch and the high school season winds toward its close, the Class of 2025 is steadily writing the final chapters of what have been, for many, remarkable prep careers. Some will head straight into pro ball following the MLB Draft in July. Others are bound for college campuses, where the next phase of their baseball journey awaits. Either way, the 500 names on this list have more than earned their place in the national spotlight — each one offering a glimpse at the future of the game.
While the Prep Baseball Draft Board shines a spotlight on the top 150 prospects with most current evaluated draft buzz, this expanded Top 500 list widens the lens, bringing into focus the deep and ever-growing pool of talent that will shape the college baseball landscape in the years to come. The truth is, many of these players will not hear their names called this summer — but that is far from the end of their story. In fact, history tells us it’s just the beginning. Over the coming draft cycles, we can expect at least 30 of these players to rise into first-round consideration, with more than 70 likely to come off the board in the top two rounds once their college careers take hold.
The value in following this class beyond their high school days is undeniable — and it’s something Prep Baseball takes seriously. Our commitment to delivering the most thorough and trusted amateur baseball coverage doesn’t end with a player’s senior season. This is a class that will leave its mark on the game for years to come, and we’ll be there every step of the way.

ARROW UP DRAFT BUZZ:
+ #11 SS Jojo Parker (Purvis HS, LA)
+ #13 SS Steele Hall (Hewitt-Trussville HS, AL)
No buzz has been louder than that of reclassified 2026, Steele Hall, whose dynamic athleticism and speed fits impressively well into what is becoming even more heavily weighted in the scouting community and organizations. A consummate performer across his first two years at the high school level, including multiple can’t miss weeks at Lakepoint, the 6.4-runner has elevated his play this spring which has many imagining where he could be in just a year’s time. Lightning hands from the right side have enjoyed the addition of strength with even more power likely on the way, and given his slick-fielding ways at shortstop, along with plus-speed, his ascension into Jett Williams-esq status might be ultimate landing point in July.
Steele Hall (March 2025)
+ #35 SS Daniel Pierce (Mill Creek HS, GA)
The consistency and track record of the Georgia shortstop over the past three years has only jumped to new heights in his fourth prep season. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitter has shown off impressive raw power with a propensity for high-level swing decisions while exhibiting quick hands and a strong likelihood for sticking at shortstop long term. His square-shouldered, athletic frame should see steady physical advancements in coming years which should only aid in even more power production. The whispers around Lakepoint from his performances the past three years can no longer be muted as the scouting community is likely to see this “sleeper favorite” graduate into a slam dunk in July.
Daniel Pierce (March 2025)
+ #36 OF Blaine Bullard (Klein Cain HS, TX)
A switch-hitter whose 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame produces some of the better athleticism and speed combination in the class, Bullard has exploded towards the front of what had been thought of as more of a down year in the Lone Star State. A true center fielder with instincts and burst, the bat-to-ball skill is innate from both sides with the speed being an impact factor. The value of sticking in center field with quickness on the bases that should be a weapon, combined with the switch-hitting prowess, Bullard fits well into what many organizations are presently prioritizing, and the upside of the frame will only help to drive up his stock.

The @AggieBaseball recruit has been impressive in the box today. 2 barrels to backside with a 3B and 1B. Good runner, should stick in CF long term. @ShooterHunt | @PrepBaseball_TX pic.twitter.com/uQrjAts7E9
#87 C Ty Harvey (Inspiration Academy, FL Florida recruit)
Florida’s ‘25 class has been a bit of an enigma as substantial time has gone into evaluations and reevaluations of a class that is hardly settled (outside of IMG’s dual-state prospects, Sean Gamble & Dean Moss). Harvey, a strong and athletic, 6-foot-2, 210-pound backstop, might end up being one of the marquee prospects of the bunch. Physically imposing with loud tools that include a powerful stroke from the right side, the Florida recruit is hitting near .600 on the spring with nearly half of his hits going for extra bases. Walking nearly 3x as much as he strikes out, analytics departments are likely getting excited about the upside while area scouts continue to crave high-end prospects from a state that routinely produces some of the best talent in the country.
Dandy Dozen Sleepers
Call them gut-feel guys or sleepers, these 12 players hold plenty of upside whether at some point in this year’s draft or after spending time performing and developing on campus. Each has posted steady lines of success under the watchful eyes of Prep Baseball’s boots-on-the-ground staff, and there is reason to believe that there is even more to come.
