2026 Super 60: Data Dive, Position Players
February 3, 2026

The wick is lit on road to the 2026 MLB Draft, and it started Sunday in the Chicagoland area at the 24th annual Super 60 Pro Showcase.
Last year, we thought the ‘25 roster would be unrivaled in its athleticism, and yet a year later this Class of 2026 shattered records. We thought the six sub-6.60 runners at the 2025 event would be tough to top, but little did we know that 365 days later latest Super 60 would feature a stunning 16 total sub-6.60 runners – including six 6.49 times or faster.
And while, yeah, there was plenty of speed in Chicago on Sunday, there was no shortage of power.
Entering the event, the highest average exit velocity generated in batting practice in the TrackMan era (since 2020) was 103.7 mph. On Sunday, four players breached that mark. On the all-time max exit velocity leaderboard, 12 of the top-25 max EVs were recorded on Sunday.
You can see for yourself how the Class of 2026 impacted the Super 60’s all-time leaderboards here, but it instantly became one of the most talent-packed ever in the event’s 24-year history.
Let’s add some context now on the event’s best statistical performers, who’ve now shifted their sights onto July’s Draft.
