Today we are releasing our weekly update to the Maryland Power 25. Take a look at some key notes from last week and the complete Top 25 below.

  • Sherwood takes over the No. 1 spot after big wins in the past week over previous No. 1 BCC and Whitman in the county championship. Mac Crismond made his season return and was lights out, working three innings, giving up just one hit and striking out four.

  • BCC slides to No. 2 after that tough loss to Sherwood last week.

  • Patuxent jumps up to No. 8 after an undefeated week and a half, defeating Great Mills, Calvert, St. Charles, Lackey, Liberty, and La Plata in the SMAC Championship game.

  • Mount Hebron and Huntingtown continue to rise in the rankings after both teams went undefeated last week, Hebron going 4-0 and Huntingtown 5-0.

  • River Hill and Queen Anne’s enter this week’s rankings after solid finishes at the end of the season.
