2025 Natural State Fall Games: Quick Hits

On Sunday, October 19 the Prep Baseball Arkansas Staff hosted our premier event of the fall, the Natural State Fall Games. This event consisted of 70+ players from around the state, selected by invite.
All of our events offer players the opportunity to update their recruiting resume and showcase their talents in front of our staff. We also use these events as identifiers for future invite-only events, like the Preseason All-State, our summer Top Prospect Games, and the prestigious Prep Baseball Future Games that takes place at the tail end of the summer. Today, we are taking a look at a number of the standouts from the day with scout notes and video, below.
Position Players

Jackson Teutsch OF / Magnolia, AR / 2027Teutsch is the definition of an all-around athelete. The 6'2 OF comes with a strong and athletic frame with the ability to do it all. His performance at this years Natural State Fall Games impressed as he showcased his ability to produce on both sides of the ball making plays in the outfield while also swinging it well at the plate. The righty showed off some impressive power reaching a top exit velocity of 95.9 mph, a gifted arm from the outfield hitting 93 mph, while also running a 7.08 60-yard dash. Jackson has the makings to be an impact player at the next level. |

Dax Drake OF / 2B / Bryant, AR / 2028Drake was one of the top underclass showings of the day. The OF/2B comes with a smooth and simple swing from both sides of the plate that generates a ton of pop reaching a top exit velocity of 95.1 MPH and a max distance of 329 Feet. The young athlete showcased some solid glove-work and arm-strength at both his primary and secondary postions reaching 79 MPH across the infield and 81 MPH from the outfield. Look for Drake to continue to elevate his game and produce in the coming years. |

Kel Mcentire C / White Hall, AR / 2027Mcentire is as well-rounded as it comes when it we talk about the backstop position. The uncommitted standout showed some impressive power at the dish with a top exit velocity of 100.4 MPH with a max distance of 372 feet. On the defensive side, he flashed impressive numbers from the outfield with 85 MPH and 81 MPH from behind the plate backing up his 1.87-1.97 pop time. The numbers do not end there as the 6-foot, 200-pound catcher ran an impressive 6.99 60-yard dash. Mcentire is defenitely a player that needs to be on college coaches radars. |

Ryan Mullen OF / Little Rock Christian, AR / 2027After representing the state of Arkansas at the Future Games at Lake Point, Mullen showed out at the Natural State Games. The 5-foot-10, 173-pound righty is as athletic as they come running a 6.68 60-yard dash while reaching a top exit velocity of 96.7 MPH. The showcase portion of the event was just the beginning for his standout day as he made some unbeliveable plays in the outfield while also putting together some great at-bats. Mullen has the potential to be one of the top names for the 2027 graduating class. |
Pitchers

Griffin Vick RHP / Little Rock Christian, AR / 2027The 6-foot-3, 185-pound righty showcased an impressive three-pitch mix at this year's event. The long-levered pitcher reached 85.2 MPH on his fastball while sitting at a comfortable 82-84 with a ton of run. Vick's secondary pitches complimented his fastball very well as his repertoire included a low-spin change-up at 62-65 MPH and a curveball at 64-66 MPH with an incredible amount of depth. With his frame and simple mechanics, there is a lot of upside for Vick in the years to come. |

Devan Hightower RHP / 2B / Southside (Batesville), AR / 2026Hightower was one of the biggest standouts from the upperclassmen at the event, showcasing his pitching capabilitites. With a smooth and simple delivery, this RHP was able to create a ton of swing and misses. Hightower's repertoire comes with a FB up to 85.3 MPH with upwards of 2,300 RPM's, a low to mid 70s change-up, a sweeping slider with an average spin rate of 2,462 RPMs and a depthy curveball. This young right hander has the ability to be a stand-out pitcher at the next level. |
Two-Ways

Sawyer Wilson SS / RHP / Benton, AR / 2027Following his recent committment to the University of Central Arkansas, Wilson had one of the stanout performances at this year's event. He continues to impress with his ability to play at a high level on both sides of the ball. On the mound, Wilson recorded the highest FB velocity for the event reaching 87.6 MPH. This is just the surface of his pitching ability as he comes with a solid 4-pitch mix that includes two different shaped breaking balls. The 2027 grad wrapped up his performance by running a 6.97 60-yard dash, while also getting a top exit velocity of 97 MPH. Look for Wilson to continue to make a name for himself in the upcoming spring season. |

Gage Klober RHP / 3B / Magnolia, AR / 2027Klober is a two-way standout that generates effertless velocityy off of the mound with a smooth, repeatable delivery that allows his fastball to jump on hitters without max effort. The right-hander comes with a mid 80s FB that topped at 86.1 MPH. On the other side of the ball, he comes with a clean-short and simple swing reaching a max exit velodity of 94.5 MPH and smooth mechanics in the infield hitting 88 MPH across the diamond. Standing in at 6-foot-4-inches and 170-pounds, it is clear the Klober has a very high ceiling to grow and improve his game and continue to be a top performer at the next level. |

Parker Wiles SS / RHP / Pea Ridge, AR / 2029Wiles was one of the biggest eye-openers at the Natural State Fall Games with his performance at the event. The underclassman comes in at 5-foot-8 with an easy delivery that will bring plenty of attention to him in the coming years. The young righty ran his FB up to 87 at the event while sitting at an easy 82-86 with an average RPM of 2,325. His pitch arsenal also includes a CB that he spins at 2,400+ RPMs. The young athlete also showed off some pop at the plate by producing a top exit velocity of 94.4 MPH. Wiles is definitely gonna be top player for everyone to be on the lookout for throughout his high school career. |

Landen Pelkey OF / LHP / Benton, AR / 2028Pelkey is a Southpaw out of Benton that raised some eyebrows at the Natural State Fall games with his performance. From the OF we find him in the top 5 in velocity by reaching 88 MPH with ease. The young lefty also showcased a short and compact swing that allows him to generate easy pop reaching a top exit velocity of 93.5 MPH. The stats do no stop there as he also filled up the zone with an impressive 3-pitch that includes a FB up to 84 MPH, a dephty CB, and a low-spin change-up with an average RPM of 1,428. Look for Pelkey to continue to improve his game and rise within the rankings over the next couple of years. |
