Uncommitted Senior Spotlight: OF/1B Bricen Moore (Douglas County)
October 22, 2025
As we wrap up the 2025 season, we now continue our coverage of the talent we've seen so far this year in Colorado with 'Uncommitted Spotlights' of the top prospects still on the board. While there's already prospects in the class committed to programs already, there remains a slew of high-end talent still available.
These spotlights help paint a picture of the prospect with the help of our TrackMan, Blast Motion, Vald and Vizual Edge systems, that provides objective data that teams use to identify and break down players they believe will fit into their system.
Today, we start our Uncommitted Senior Spotlights with a look at 2026 OF/1B Bricen Moore of Douglas County HS. Bricen Moore is one of the more polished left-handed hitters in Colorado’s 2025 class, showing advanced swing mechanics and a mature approach at the plate. His bat speed and consistent barrel control translate to impressive offensive production, highlighted by a .429 average with 3 home runs, 4 triples, 7 doubles, and a 1.234 OPS over 89 plate appearances this spring at the 5A level. Moore’s 95 mph exit velocity underscores his ability to drive the baseball with authority to all fields. Defensively, he splits time between first base and the outfield, with an 84 mph arm and the athleticism (6.84 runner) to project comfortably in a corner outfield role at the next level. Following his strong 2025 campaign, Moore stands out as a well-rounded, high-floor prospect who is still available in the 2026 class.

Scouting Report
One of the most polished offensive performers at the event, Moore stands out with a loose, picturesque left-handed swing that consistently produced line drives to all fields. At 6-foot, 184 pounds, he shows an athletic, proportional build with twitch and strength that play in the box. A controlled toe tap and slight barrel tip sync into a fluid, on-plane path with excellent feel for the barrel—averaging 84.6 mph exit velocity and reaching a 346-foot max distance. Defensively, he moves well around the bag with an 81 mph arm from the left side, and his 6.84 speed in the 60 shows the athleticism to potentially handle a corner outfield role down the line. High-end swing mechanics and projection make Moore a strong follow from the left side.
