ORANGE BEACH, AL - On Sunday, October 5th, the South Alabama Fall ID continued the Fall ID Tour at Orange Beach High School in Orange Beach, AL. This event was an open event that consisted of prospects from the 2026-2030 classes. These players went through an pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, Blast Motion, defensive workout, Vizual Edge testing, and more. Pitchers were able to throw simulated bullpens and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Sunday.

Brenden Barrentine, Faith Academy (AL), 2028 |
Positional Profile: 2B/RHP
Body: 5-11, 150-pounds. Smaller frame, plenty of room for added development.
Delivery: Controlled and methodical actions down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Lower 3/4 slot.
FB: T73, 72-73 mph. Mostly straight with some occasional sink. T1635, 1583 average rpm.
SL: 69-70 mph. Late and sharp action. Swing and miss pitch. T1623, 1623 average rpm.

Jackson Boudreaux, Gulf Shores (AL), 2028 |
Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 5-11, 154.8-pounds. Longer, leaner frame, can add size/strength in the future.
Delivery: Clean and easy actions down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Longer arm stroke from a higher 3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 81-82 mph. Showed later action to the arm side and some cut at times. T1960, 1887 average rpm.
CB: 69-69 mph. Well-shaped and tightly spun. Disappeared off of the plate from RH hitters. Thrown with confidence. T2038, 1968 average rpm.
SL: 68-68 mph. Latter, slurvy action. T1917, 1917 average rpm.
CH: 75-76 mph. Has feel for the pitch, 5-6 mph form the fastball but showed late tumble into RH hitters. T1810, 1717 average rpm.

Camden Cook, Orange Beach (AL), 2029 |
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-0, 152-pounds. Well-proportioned frame with some present strength.
Delivery: Clean and easy actions down the slope.
Arm Action: RH. Longer arm stroke, higher 3/4 slot.
FB: T75, 71-74 mph. Mostly straight, commanded well to the glove side. T1805, 1651 average rpm.
CB: 63-64 mph. Late depth, 11/5 shape. Located down in the zone. T1678, 1678 average rpm.

Samuel Davis, UMS-Wright (AL), 2027 |
Positional Profile: 3B/SS
Body: 5-9, 154.1-pounds. Athletic and proportional, can add size/strength in the future.
Delivery: Uptempo delivery, aggressive down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Quick arm, ball comes out easy with some ride.

Body: 6-0, 200-pounds. Strength in the lower half of a well-proportioned frame.
Delivery: Up tempo action down the mound.
