We’re thrilled to announce the 2026 Prep Baseball Alabama Kickoff Classic, set to feature 15 of the top high school baseball programs from across the state. This highly anticipated event will take place on Friday, February 20, and Saturday, February 21, at the newly opened River Run Park in Northport, AL. Each team will compete in one game on Friday and two on Saturday.

The 2025 edition of the Kickoff Classic marked the fourth year of the event and included 14 teams competing at Gardendale, Hoover, Spain Park, and Vestavia Hills high schools. That year, the Hartselle Tigers went on to win the AHSAA Class 6A State Championship, with several other participating teams making deep playoff runs in their respective classifications.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the official announcements of the Prep Baseball South Alabama Showdown and the Prep Baseball Smalltown Showdown—set for release on Wednesday, October 29, and Wednesday, November 5, respectively.
