2025 ROSTER

This year's roster is already shaping up nicely:

Nicholas Goode OF / 1B / Esperanza High, CA / 2026

Positional Profile: OF/1B Corner OF with line drive approach and flashes of power.
Body: 6-2, 197-pounds. Broad build with strength present throughout.
Hit: RHH. Sets up upright and balanced with a slight knee bend and hands sitting at chest level. Shows raised back elbow and barrel resting above the shoulder with a slight waggle. Initiates the load by sinking into the back knee as the hands drift back slightly and the barrel works vertically. Utilizes a small leg kick with a toe-tap trigger for timing before a short stride forward. Fires the back knee forward to drive the hip turn, keeping hands back. Hands stay inside, working through the zone on a slightly uphill path. Uses a line-drive approach with occasional flashes of power up the middle. 61.8 mph bat speed with 7 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 83.7 mph. 323' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-78 mph. Full, lengthy arm path that flares out while working behind the body and gets up to a high 3/4 slot. Throws show loft with some arm-side run. Shows decent feel for accuracy with some present arm speed. Arm projects best for LF.
Defense: Stays tall with active footwork and works aggressively through the target, gaining significant ground on the crow hop. Has room to refine reads off the bat. Profiles in the corners.
ATH: 7.80 runner in the 60. 1.78 and 4.23 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 18.30 max vertical.
Vizual Edge: 72.88 Edge Score

William (Tommy ) Paredes 2B / OF / NA, CA / 2027

Positional Profile: 2B/OF
Body: 5-10, 156-pounds. Athletic, projectable.
Hit: RHH. Wide, heavy load on back leg, heavy hip action, no stride, soft hands with a vertical bat. Loose with a shorter path, stays level, looks up the middle. 58.5 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 82 max exit velocity, averaged 68.6 mph. 265' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-69 mph. OF-70 mph. OF: Shorter action, dart thrower, high 3/4 slot. IF: Dart thrower, 3/4 slot.
Defense: OF: Fields around the ball staying on toes. IF: Athletic, possesses a bounce in the step.
ATH: 8.08 runner in the 60.
Vizual Edge: 71.87 Edge Score

Jesse Colon SS / 3B / La Mirada High, CA / 2026

Colon entered the West Coast Games as an under the radar prospect from a powerhouse La Mirada program, but the OC based INF left the event making a strong impression to his offensive ability. The athletic ability for Colon is presently solid with a 7.19 60 yard dash time, 1.67 10 yard and 3.97 30 yard splits showed well while adding a 19.1 MPH max run speed that profiles to a 2B/3B defensive profile. His hands, footwork and rhythm were sound while showing a presently accurate and quick 79 MPH INF arm velocity. He is a compact, but solidly built 5'6 161.6 lbs. RH hitter who showed a natural feel for hitting during batting practice with an innate feel for his barrel at contact. Colon posted strong Blast Motion metrics from a compact swing path that generates 20.2 MPH of hand speed, 67.9 MPH of bat speed and rotates with 17.9 Gs of rotational acceleration. His direct swing path and feel for timing produced consistent hard contact throughout his batting practice with a 57% hard hit rate and 86% sweet spot rate on balls in play. His smaller frame packs some punch reminiscent of compact framed RH hitters like Jose Altuve averaging 89.4 MPH of exit velocity with a max exit velocity up to 93.6 MPH while hammering line drives all over the field with a 309' max distance playing to line to line doubles power. His workout was just a precursor to what would turn out to be an impressive all over performance for a player who has the type of strong overall profile to be a player that can really help a college program in the future.

Jagr Scott SS / C / San Marcos High, CA / 2028

Positional Profile: SS/C Compact INF with a controlled swing and developing tools.
Body: 5-8, 171-pounds. Sturdy build with noticeable present strength and physicality throughout.
Hit: RHH. Hands set low beneath the shoulders in a slightly closed stance with weight favoring the back leg. Utilizes a simple, controlled stride to initiate the swing. Short and direct through the zone with a compact path. 64.8 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 88.3 mph. 359' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-78 mph. Three-quarter arm slot with a short, quick arm action. At times still searching for a consistent release point.
Defense: Shuffles into the throw, crosses over feet moving laterally.
ATH: 7.15 runner in the 60. 1.61 and 3.91 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 22.60 max vertical.
