On Sunday, October 12th, the Prep Baseball Illinois staff hosted the Class of 2027 Showcase at The Max in McCook, IL. This event was exclusive to players in the class of 2027, and allowed our staff to get a quality look at the 40+ players in attendance before the fall wrapped up.

Today, we are taking a look at every single pitcher from the day, along with a Top-5 ranking of who we thought showed the best in their bullpen.

LHP Anthony Urso (IC Catholic Prep) is an intriguing follow from the event. Listed at 6-foot-3, 175-pounds, the southpaw is a fluid and clean mover with projectable movement patterns, looking to have much more in the tank from a velocity standpoint.
