Cordell Bair OF / RHP / Conestoga Valley, PA / 2026

Super impressive performance by Bair at the PA Fall ID. The multi-sport athlete is in the middle of football season and had enough time on a Sunday to produce some eye-popping metrics offensively, defensively, and athletically. He has an athletic, high-upside frame of 6 ‘2 and 176-pound. His 6.76 sixty-yard dash was the second quickest sixty and he did not manage to run in the straightest line but still produced a very quick time. His batting practice was loud and full of barrels that produced a max exit velocity of 96.6 mph, an average exit velocity of 90.1 mph, and a max distance of 360 feet. Defensively, he displayed his high-level arm talent from the outfield and peaked at 94 mph and did not go lower than 91 mph in his five throws to home plate. After that he stepped on the mound and sat at 85 mph after waiting a little over an hour to throw. Bair is an uber athletic ball player that has a tremendous amount of untapped potential.

Jake Gorman RHP / OF / Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast HS, PA / 2027

Gorman had one of the best bullpens of the day and had potentially the best secondary pitch of the entire event. The 5 ‘10 and 176-pound right-hander moves well down the slope and utilizes his mechanics very well to optimize efficiency. His fastball was 85-86 and peaked 86.6 mph with 14 inches of arm side, horizontal movement. His secondary pitch that was the best of the entire event was his curveball which sat 74-75 mph and peaked at 2,525 rpm and averaged 2,446 rpm. His curveball had a very tight shape and had some late downward break as it reached the zone.

Samuel Ciukaj 3B / RHP / Cathedral Prep, PA / 2027

The physically imposing, 6 ‘5 and 202-pound junior had a very impressive showing at the PA Fall ID. On top of running the quickest sixty-yard dash at 6.73, he produced one of the highest grip strength numbers that we saw all year. His grip strength with his dominant hand (right hand) was 193.5 pounds and his left was 181.6 pounds, extremely impressive numbers. He also stood out offensively when he produced a peak exit velocity of 99.9 mph and a max distance of 372 feet. Cuikaj is an uber physical athlete with a premium frame and has an incredible work ethic that will help continue his upwards development.

Ryan Petruska LHP / OF / Nazareth Area, PA / 2026

The Harvard commit had arguably the most impressive all-around bullpens of the entire event. His fastball was consistently 87-89 mph and produced 20 inches of induced vertical break. His slider was 75-78 mph, and he spun it up to 2,447 rpm while constantly landing it for strikes in the lower quadrant of the zone. Petruska also commanded his changeup very well and threw it 72-84 mph with up to -14 inches of horizontal movement. Overall, Petruska had a very impressive bullpen and displayed a well-rounded pitching arsenal.

Oliver Thornburg C / 3B / Bellefonte Area, PA / 2026

The uncommitted catcher had one of the loudest batting practice performances and was a top two performer in multiple defensive categories. Offensively, Thornburg has an extremely explosive barrel whip that generates big numbers. He displayed the ability to consistently catch the baseball out front while not forcing himself to pull the ball, and he deposited multiple balls well over the left-field fence. He produced exit velocities up to 98 mph and a max distance of 377 feet. Defensively, he had the second quickest pop-time of 1.95-2.10 and the strongest arm of the event at 77 mph. Thornburg lets the pitch travel and has a quick, chest high transfer that allows him to get the ball out quickly to second base. Overall, he is a high-level rotational athlete that can produce impressive results offensively and defensively.

Eli Paradise RHP / 2B / Perkiomen Valley, PA / 2028

The 6 ‘2 and 194-pound sophomore continued to impress and turn heads every time we see him. He has a shorter arm action with late arm acceleration down the slope. His fastball was 82-84 mph, his slider was 70-71 mph, and his changeup was 76-77 mph. He displayed his pitch-ability and command with his entire arsenal; he landed over 60 percent of his pitches in the zone. With his frame and work ethic, expect Paradise to be one of the Keystone State’s premiere right-handed pitchers as we enter the next high school season.

Sam McComb C / 1B / Shady Side Academy, PA / 2027

McComb produced the highest exit velocity of the event from the right side of the plate and produced a top 10 exit velocity from the left side of the plate. At 6 ‘2 and 228-pounds, McComb ran a 7.24 sixty-yard dash which is very impressive for his position and frame. Offensively, on top of his eye-popping exit velocities he peaked at a max distance of 372 feet and a bat speed of 83.4 mph. Defensively, he displayed a quick transfer and fluid mechanics behind the plate and produced a pop time of 2.07-2.17. His throws were either right on second base or an easy-to-handle long hop. This 2027 graduate is a player to follow.
